This photo was taken in 2018, not long after my shift out of 3D consciousness. Not having known me ‘before’, you may not notice anything out of the ordinary, but I can see it clearly. This is me…the real me…alight with joy, contentment, wellness, and peace, fully aligned with my highest Self, at one with the Universe…and still enjoying a crisp glass of Pino Grigio.

When I’m not out and about, you can find me at the Vancouver Racquets Club taking part in the Badminton BC Masters Tournament Circuit and competing at local, provincial and national levels. The love for badminton began at 5 years old, barefoot in the backyard, but serious coaching took me through junior club tournaments and high school team competitions. Upon graduation, a 30-year hiatus allowed time for career and family, until a yearning to return to badminton led me to Anna Rice. This two-time Olympian and internationally respected badminton ambassador became my coach and mentor, transforming me physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. If it hadn’t been for Anna, I wouldn’t be here today.

Until recently, I was juggling badminton with full-time work as an administrator in corporate real estate. Now retired from a 35-year career, I find that the only things I miss are my coworkers and my daily cycling commute. Cognizant of my environmental footprint, I never did buy a car and have been cycling everywhere since 2010. It’s great cross-training, saves money, and reminds me of being a child again. I couldn’t have done it when my kids were little, so I’m very grateful to have this freedom now. Speaking of kids, I have two. They have grown and flown the nest, but I try to spend as much time with them as possible. They are spectacular humans.

Feeling truly blessed to be living my best life, I’m spending more time outdoors and focusing energy on my latest drawing projects. I find myself waking up every morning with a smile on my face and love in my heart…absolutely overflowing with gratitude.

My only wish is to share this gift of inner peace with everyone.
